Through this website you are able to link to other websites which are not under the control of Cinemac. We have no control over the nature, content and availability of those sites. The inclusion of any links does not necessarily imply a recommendation or endorse the views expressed within them.
Every effort is made to keep the website up and running smoothly. However, Cinemac takes no responsibility for, and will not be liable for, the website being temporarily unavailable due to technical issues beyond our control.

Ticket sales

Cinemac reserves the right to refuse admission and/or require a customer to leave the premises when requested.
Cinemac may request proof of age.
Rules of admission arising from film certification by the British Board Of Film Classification (BBFC) must be observed.
Mobile telephones, cameras and tablets should be switched off when entering an auditorium. Recording is illegal.
Ticket refunds and swaps are at the absolute discretion of the duty manager and cannot be requested after the event.
Cinemac is not responsible for lost or stolen tickets or gift cards, nor personal belongings.
Tickets purchased online are subject to booking fees of 50p per ticket.
Cinemac reserves the right to cancel a performance, vary the film, vary the start-time or change a seat allocation. In such circumstances our liability will be limited to the refund of the cost of the ticket purchase only, and is in all cases is at our discretion. Any incidental costs (such as but not limited to parking fees, concessions sales, booking fees) are the customer’s sole responsibility.
Cinemac is not responsible for errors in information received from third parties, including newspapers. These third parties may include a number of website listings that do not receive any information from Cinemac. Our website at cinemac.org..uk should be consulted for screening times and information.
Cinemac reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions from time to time. Any amendments will take effect when published here.
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer or excludes or limits our liability for fraud or for death or personal injury resulting from our negligence or for any other liability not excluded or limited under law. Our liability is otherwise limited to the price paid for your ticket.

Terms & Conditions

Refund Policy

We are under no obligation to exchange or refund tickets once a booking has been confirmed. We are not responsible in the event you select the wrong film, a different time and/or a film you cannot attend when booking through our website. However, we may be able to help you up to 2 hours before the start time of your booking.

Where we are, for any reason, unable to provide a screening you will be offered a full refund or the option to swap to an alternative screening and any difference in price will be charged or refunded to you.

Food & Drink Policy

Only food and drink purchased at the cinema during your visit may be consumed within the cinema. Exceptions are made to those who have specific dietary requirements.

No alcoholic drinks may be brought into the cinema building. You must observe the licensing regulations at the cinema concerning the sale and consumption of alcoholic drinks. Alcohol can only be ordered and consumed by people aged 18 or over. We operate Challenge 25 and if you appear to be under the age of 25 when collecting or receiving an online alcohol order, we will only supply the alcohol if you show us photographic proof of age.

Website Policy

Cinema tickets are sold by us at standard prices for the relevant performance. These prices may vary based on numerous factors, including without limitation, the timing of the performance, the specific titles, the sales channel and the ticket type. By requesting tickets through our website, you are placing a booking request for tickets on these terms and conditions that is only deemed accepted by and binding once valid payment has been processed and you have been sent an email confirmation of your booking. If pricing of tickets is included on the website in error then the ticket price will be due and payable by the customer based on the standard pricing. Where errors have been made on pricing, we reserve the right to offer you the option to pay any difference in pricing or cancel the ticket, in which case we will offer you a full refund.

This website is provided free of charge and we make no guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error free. In addition, we reserve the right to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, all or any part of this website without notice and without liability.

Terms Of Entry

Only customers in possession of a valid ticket will be admitted into the auditorium to which the ticket relates and admission will be permitted only for the duration of the performance specified by the ticket.

We reserve the right to require customers who are disruptive, unwell, antisocial or violent to leave the cinema immediately without any entitlement to a refund. What constitutes disruptive, unwell, antisocial or violent behaviour shall be determined at the duty manager’s sole discretion and includes both physical and verbal abuse.

Mobile phones must be switched off or in a silent mode before you enter the auditorium. You must not take or make calls inside the auditorium.

In order to avoid disturbing other guests, customers who arrive after the start of the feature presentation will only be permitted entry into the auditorium at the duty manager’s sole discretion. Refunds will not be issued by us in these circumstances.

We, acting reasonably, reserve the right to refuse admission or request a guest to leave at any time for an objectively determined reason. The duty manager’s decision in these cases is final.

In order to provide a safe environment for our employees and customers we may, from time to time, introduce a variety of safety measures. By entering our premises you are agreeing to adhere and proactively cooperate with such safety measures. We reserve the right to require customers not adhering to these measures to leave the premises without a refund. These safety measures may include but are not limited to:

Social distancing: we may implement social distancing across all areas within the cinema. This will include changing and/or declassifying seating arrangements at our discretion.

Staggered entry times: we may stagger film start and end times to reduce the amount of customers on our premises. We therefore may politely ask you to wait outside the premises until our employees allow you entry and for you to leave the premises promptly after your film has finished.

Queuing systems: we may operate queues in a manner to reduce risk to individuals which may include outside queuing, queuing in a remote area or socially distanced queues.

In the interest of safety, security and other reasonable causes, we may ask to search your possessions whilst on the premises for any item which a staff member believes may contravene these terms and conditions. We reserve the right to refuse entry or require a customer, who doesn’t agree to being searched, to leave the premises without entitlement to a refund.

Smoking is not permitted anywhere in the cinema premises this includes any form of electronic cigarette or other artificial smoking devices.

You must keep your personal belongings with you at all times. We accept no responsibility for the loss, theft, alteration or damage to any personal items brought onto the premises.

Please note CCTV is in operation for the purposes of crime prevention and public safety.

It is a serious criminal offence to copy or attempt to copy any film or other copyright material exhibited in any part of the cinema, punishable on conviction with an unlimited fine and imprisonment of up to a maximum of ten years. You are not permitted to bring cameras and/or recording equipment of any kind into the cinema for the purposes of illegal activity. We reserve the right to carry out random bag checks and refuse equipment at the sole discretion of the Manager.

You may not bring any dangerous and/or illegal items into any part of the cinema at any time.

Programming 

We will always try to show films in accordance with the programme that we advertise. However, there may be circumstances in which we are unable to comply with the advertised programme and we reserve the right to cancel a performance, vary the time of an exhibition or substitute an alternative film if this becomes necessary because of circumstances beyond our control. If this happens we will, at our discretion, refund the cost of the ticket or issue another ticket for the same film on an alternative occasion. We are unable to take responsibility for programme information advertised by third parties.
